Von Hövel ‘S’ Saar Riesling Kabinett 2016
“Liquified lemonade icy poles. Such a refreshing thing to drink. Scents of lemon sorbet. Flavours similar with a tight, precise wake across the palate. Floods the senses with eye watering, cheek blushing, scintillating acidity. A full face experience drinking it. Massively thirst-slaking, and yeah, so easy to drink. Intensity and drinkability hand in hand. A cracker in the style.” – 91 Points Mike Bennie, WineFront.com.au

Von Hövel Hütte Oberemmel GG Riesling 2015
“Light golden colour. Pretty, sweet perfume offering light honey and candle wax characters amongst ripe lemon and ginger. The palate has concentration, a little weight and some nice breadth, though underlying coolness of acidity keeps the wine in check. A touch of waxiness to texture, a little minerally-mineral water bite in the mix too. It’s such a charming wine, offering layers of flavour and yet an appealing refreshment factor too. Unique personality, feels the message. Tick.” – 94 Points Mike Bennie, WineFront.com.au

Von Hövel Feinherb Riesling 2016
“Delicious, simple, crisp white. Crunchy texture, delicate, mineral water meets-green apple and grapefruit flavours. Pretty floral, apple-y perfume too. It’s a wine of restraint and great freshness, ease of drinking, revitalising feel. Easy to like. Summery thing. Go on.” – 89 Points Mike Bennie, WineFront.com.au

Von Hövel Trocken Riesling 2016
“Electric, tingly acidity is the major player in this wine and it lends the drink an uptempo, refreshing feel. Green apple, lime and lime leaf, black currant and slate scents with flavours more or less similar in description. It sits like a needle in the palate, lean, tight, steely. Super drinking here; a simple wine set to high drinkability, clean and dry, brisk and mouthwatering. Real nice.” – 90 Points Mike Bennie, WineFront.com.au

Von Hövel Hütte Riesling Spätlese 2016
“This tastes great now, although I suspect it will get better with many years in bottle. It’s light, almost feathery, with a distinct flinty feel, light tropical fruit, green apple, a lavender mouth-perfume, crunch and delicacy combined, with a long, crystalline and juicy sweet finish that’s tucked in tight with all that flint and cool acidity. Wonderful thing to drink.” – 93+ Points Gary Walsh, WineFront.com.au
